Love the Trees, great song, I can't believe how much content they've come up with lately.... Chili Peppers, Rush and Megadeth albums plus all the singles, awesome.
Oh and the AC/DC add on is pretty sweet.

Rock Band is really where it's at for downloadables. I'm a little disappointed the AC/DC will be disc only though - seems like a step back imo. I know why their doing it, but part of me wants to neglect them just to prove a point.

The AC/DC stuff can be transfered to harddrive similar to how RB1 stuff can be transfered. I'd prefer if it was released as straight up DLC (and hopefully at a cheaper price), but at least i can play pretty much everything without having to swap disks.

so i am planning on getting RB2 when it comes out for ps3... from what i have read, it comes out on the 19th. but thats sunday? is that just the date it ships so that it is in stores on the 21st which is a tuesday? just seems weird to release a game on a sunday. anyone know anything about that?

perhaps it's one of those things where the stores have it by thurs/fri but they aren't allowed to sell it until Sunday. I seem to recall haronix doing this with another one of their games (I want to say GH2 for the 360).
Edit: It appears as though this is the case. Several people are reporting that they've gotten it early from stores who do not abide by the "do not sell before ____" rule. On a side note, thanks for the reminder Dobbles! I had no idea it was out in 3 days.

would that be the rock band 1 pedal or the rock band 2 pedal? If it's from the first game what better reason than to upgrade the drums? I know it blows, i'm just trying to put a positive spin on it for you.
edit: I'm guessing as RB2 has only been out for 30 days on the 360 it isn't the RB2 kit. Sorry, I'm an idiot today.

I am actually quite satisfied with the drums from RB1 actually. I should however state that i got the gen 2 version, actually works quite well. If i go over to my friends house and try to use his gen 1 drums I fail literally every song because i just don't pound on the drums hard enough to make anything register.
I ended up buying a drum pedal off a website i found, Lifetime Warranty and would be compatible with RB2 if i decide to upgrade the drums at a later time.

Just kidding. Lots of people haven't tried it, there's no shame in that. It's one of those games that doesn't appeal to most people when you explain it to them. The premise of it is quite ridiculous really. For a lot of people only after you pick up one of the instruments and "play" something does the entertainment value in it shine through.
