Gauthier was outside the zone while McGinn was in. He and the puck enter... people can debate whether he had possession or not, I think he did, (you see whistles for penalties all the time when the team getting called has the puck but doesn't touch it being considered possession) but regardless after that both he and McGinn need to have part of their body outside the zone at the same time.

McGinn can't tag up and Gauthier stays in... that's not "clearing the zone"
