Snyder and Giroux supposedly had a pretty heated discussion in the hall after the last loss and Giroux left pissed without talking to the media. Giroux as bait in a deal? Would you do Baertshi for Giroux?
Lol.........I and every Flames fan would love to see that happen! All we have to do is wait till Stamkos goes into a scoring funk and trade Glencross for him.....rebuild complete!!!

Baertschi plus our first next year would be the starting point for any discussions involving Giroux. And if the Flames weren't willing to offer that much, you can be guaranteed another team would.
Kevin like a vipa Lowe gives Yail a vote of confidence through his parrot Mac-T who passes it on to dead man walking Eakins.
So he promptly goes out, bails on a hit, makes a turnover that would make the pilsbury dough boy weep with pride, and plays yet another lazy uninspired terrible game to thank them.
Or
A vote of confidence, not getting traded out of this hell hole. You just wait, I'll show you.
I doubt any team is going to give up a kings ransom for this kids body of work. Sure he had a good season last year thanks to a scoring streak at the end of the season in no pressure time.
But he's been so utterly bad and exposed this year that its more then a sophmore slump. In a sophmore slump you'll see the player with the effort and hustle and things not going his way. That's not what's happening here. This kid is oozing bad attitude, non commitment, and laziness on the ice.
He might get you a first round pick or a decent prospect if you deal him, but not both. The Oilers might be stuck with him and have to pray that he pulls his head out of his rectum. Because he's a reclamation project, and half of the coaches in the league would look at him and say, no way man, not in my lineup.

Sure.
But the advantage the Fames would have in a Giroux deal (assuming there were desire on both sides for such a thing) is that the Flames could take his entire salary on, no questions asked.
Pretty much every other team would have to send salary back.
And that is probably something that would be of value to the Flyers. How much is hard to measure.
LOL @ people who think Giroux will be traded. He's in a slump, Iginla has gone for weeks without scoring a goal before, just because a player has a cold streak doesn't mean they're immediately on the trading block.
edit: Unless Giroux asked to be traded. No way Philly would trade him otherwise.

I guess after seven, soon to be eight years, the first thing Eakins should have worked on is minuses are only good in golf. Looks like the Oilers foursomes are owning the league.
