Edmonton Ellerslie is killing it! Over 1000 votes counted 10 minutes ago.

This candidate was our shinny goalie - good guy, funny guy, but total conspiracy theorist. I guess UCP was not extreme enough for him:

West Yellowhead is a dead heat after 3000 votes. That’s interesting.

It’s why they don’t invest resources provincially in Alberta. There is almost no point federally or provincially

I'm only interested in the results from East Yellowhead

Thank you!! It was driving me nuts! Odd they report it like that. If I was in charge I would put any riding with less than 500 votes as a “seat to come” rather than something to report on. Thanks again.

Well we've had 4 years of Kenney/Smith who definitely did not put regular Albertans first. How is 4 more years of an even more radical UCP going to change that?

If a government or party promoting private or semi-private practice actually had a plan to address that first I would feel much more open to looking at private options as a solution. Otherwise we’re likely going to end up in a situation where our tax dollars are subsidizing a new healthcare system that isn’t saving us money or guaranteeing better outcomes.
That's a much different system though. And unfortunately, one I've had to deal with too much recently as well. But that's basically public subsidized private care.

For things such as blood work or X-Rays if there were public practices added to our province that were privatized you don't feel it would speed up the queue of the public wait times?

I'm not entirely expecting him to win, but Jason Heistad running in Innisfail-Sylvan Lake is an incredibly solid dude and I really hope he has a good showing in that riding.

I can't figure out a better person to be serving that area.

Blood work is already private. Seems as slow as ever. Private companies are inefficient as well. They just squeeze the employees or customers more to make money.

Vassy Kapelos no longer on the CTV panel and I am thinking she is heading down to UCP party HQ once an announcement comes through within the next hour.
