It's not a coaching issue. It's a certain players issue.

Well, being constantly frustrated by a massively inconsistent hockey team is part of out DNA as Flames fans I suppose. I figured it would be one of these games today, because this is just how it is.

Just BRUTAL!
The only response for this type of game, is a swift kick in the ass.

lol, the rittich rebound.
dude, it was a 3-0 game with 13 minutes left in the 3rd, the rebound is absolutely meaningless to the outcome of this game.
it doesn't even register.

The vortex pull of the All-Star break is turning their suck level and bending and twisting it to be: is this a bottom league team?
I can only hope this suck level is happening now and this isn't a trend for after the all-star break.
Rittich stands on his head in Toronto and is barely NHL level in this game. Flames checked out.
Time for Brad to make some changes.

Ward is a great coach no doubt, but Mony and Johnny need a kick in the butt. So whether that's a more solid coach or a new player in the top 6, something has got to give.

We're trying the Sens game plan, 1 shot in 10 minutes this period

The something that's got to give is a player, not the coach.

The mediocrity is astounding. Whether it is at the break or at the end of the year this team needs to shake it up. Too many players feeling too comfortable mailing it in.

Ever since last years all star break this team has been mediocre to bad.
Our best players are rarely good enough and no shuffling around that will fix it. Sell if you can get good value at the deadline and try a retool in the summer.

That season was a complete aberration, not to mention they turned into another pumpkin in the playoffs. This looks like the same 17-18 team that couldn’t score and made goaltenders like Christopher Gibson look Vezina calibre. Treliving is running out of chances to find the right players. He doesn’t get another Neal, Brouwer, Raymond, Lazar mulligan.
