Packers

I know I know...all the home teams. I'd like to pick a 'dog but I just don't see it this weekend. Went 2-2 last week, see if I can get over .500 here..

Vikings - This will be dependant more on Smiling Jimmy G getting loose with the football, and turning it over than the Vikings, who, will hang around long enough to capitalize. He’s had a few showings like that, vs the Seahawks in the Seattle win. Cousins can’t force things himself, but won’t hold my breath there. In general I think SF is in for a nervous looking dud, just up to Minnesota not to be worse.

Chiefs - Reid will have his team ready, it’ll be next game that they choke. Houston doesn’t really have enough.

Ravens - I actually think the Titans will give Baltimore a legitimate scare. If Titans defense can hold the very good (but also now getting out of control media hype wise) Jackson, this one may be tight.

Seahawks - Going with my heart in this one, as it’s a coin flip. Both teams are very good, and mostly even. Sounds like weather may be a factor, both teams don’t really rely on a passing game so that nullifies the weather, and both QBs should be experienced enough to limit mistakes. It’s the conditions which will factor in as to which DB that may fall down, or RB fumbles and cause the turning point in the game. And, I’d say, more pressure on GB then Seattle, who can playa bit looser.

With Minnesota’s win today, both teams will know they can host the NFCC game next weekend.

Wow, that was a big turnover by SF. They looked to be on their way to a score. Minnesota’s D is hanging in there so far.

Edit- ruled no fumble

Huge break for the 49ers instead.

That is absolutely abysmal from Garoppolo. Lifeline for the Vikings.

It's a bad play call too. Why throw on first down? They are dominating the run. And they could run out the half with points maybe, and they get the ball first in the 2nd half.

Huge mistake.

I don't really get this. It's supposed to be -4 and relatively clear, no precip. Yeah, it might snow overnight, but presumably they'll shovel it off before the game and it'll be fine.

So what exactly was the point of calling the timeout before the Vikings FG if you're just gonna take a knee?

Maybe the Vikings miss the FG and you get a chance for points. Maybe you get a great kick return and have a chance for points.

If the Vikings missed the FG the 49ers would have gotten the ball at the 29 so it's not like four yards matters. Just a strange sequence, getting 35 yards in 30 seconds with one timeout is not some longshot, pretty conservative play call but I imagine that's more of a statement on Garoppolo.

Man, who would have thought Kendrick Bourne would be the big difference maker in this game.

That was right into Sherman's hands. Thielen didn't even make a play on it.

Also, among things I wouldn't have predicted, Cook being totally useless is high on the list.

Take out the TD to Diggs and the Vikings have 43 yards of offense right now. 49ers defense playing great.

49ers could run the ball the rest of the game.

So is a drive with 8 straight runs a big F you to the other team's defensive line, or a big F you to your own quarterback?

Either way it's impressive.

It's sure not an F you to the QB when it results in a TD.
