Yeah, gotta agree that between me and a lot of jays fans I know, this scheduling really deflated what was a rising level of fandamonium that was about to hit a fever pitch.
Its just so odd. Like the whole country was boiling over and ready to go crazy, and then it just fizzled out into some people getting the day off if they were lucky, but most just kind of following along with the score while at work.
It's really too bad. Can't wait until Sunday though!

Hopefully Beltre is out for the series, not that you wish injuries on anyone. Anything that makes it easier for the Jays to win.

Afternoon games should generally favor the team with more power, but that point is moot with the roof closed?
Too bad all games can't be in the evening on weeknights. Or alternate which series play in the afternoon.

I kind of think it is BS that MLB gets to decide if the roof is open or not. They don't get to make the decision for stadiums that are fully outdoors. If the weather is fine then open the damn roof.
Have to think the Jays would have wanted the roof open for the first two.

The American broadcasters were tearing apart Skydome's turf. Every chance they got they would talk about how crappy it is compared to grass.
And they are right. If Minnesota can have grass, why not Toronto?
