I bought some cheap rims and put them on my winter bike and broke two rear spokes, other than that have never broke any. Kind of a pain to replace on the rear wheel.

The rear wheel where they connect to the centre. No issues the first 2 years but broke one last summer and one already this year. It's kind of annoying and making me hesitant to go on any long rides.

Here is another opportunity to let the City know about your biking issues. You can place "pins" on the map to identify areas that need repair or lacking in infrastructure.

We should all pin Deerfoot for the lack of a separated bike lane. Then once the news gets the results with a FOI request hilarity will ensue

I pinned McKnight/Deerfoot as its missing a connection for pedestrians/cyclists to the NE. you have to go all the way south to Fox Hollow or north to 64th. super out of the way
