I don't think that's enough time to get in, get settled, practise, and get enough rest for a Wednesday night game. Maybe but I doubt it.
I would bet he doesn't play until Saturday, which will be just fine. Press conferences, practises, media build up to the home opener, and then the crowd goes bonkers welcoming him to the city.
Guy is an absolute legend. It's going to be such a treat to see him 41 times at home this year (and hopefully more!!).

With the time change he could be here for noon tomorrow.

He would be flying out in the next few hours, is that enough time for him to get everything together and get moving? I dunno.
He's probably still trying to find a cat sitter.

Czech media are now full of this signing, it will be No. 1 thing tonight in all news etc. Really something I am not used to, CGY was never No.1 club in Czech media, so I will need to get used to that this season for sure. It will be Calgary in every sports Czech news, everyday. Really new situation for me :-)
My wife told me , that she will wake up on SAT with me for Home opener and that tells something, she loves to sleep :-)šJagr is an iconic athlete in here.
Guys trust me, I am still absorbing this, it feels surreal for me......I have a glass of wine on the table and going through CP with a smile on my face :-)
I was ultrasuper pumped for this season before.....but now????? Hard to find the right words......

Woah, woah, woah, woah....wait a second here. Did nobody else pick up on this?
Honestly, if you don't get a chance to watch Jagr play live in a Flames jersey, I will consider that a crime against humanity.
Listen up CP, we all need to chip in and make this a reality for calgaryboy. His passion for the flames is unparalleled around here, and now he can watch one of his idols play for his favorite team. I will not sit idly by and watch as this opportunity slips away from him.
I'm asking that we start a Go Fund Me page or something for him so that he can come to Calgary this year and watch at least one game. I don't know what the cost would be, so maybe calgaryboy can help determine what he needs to get over the hump and let us know.
I'm committing $100 of my own money to this cause right now. Who's with me?

If it comes to that, then we have a young promising Jankowski waiting in the wings.
Not really a bad situation either way.

He could fly from Prague to YYC with Air Canada tomorrow and be here by 2:50PM. Pretty sure Kladno is only like 20 mins from Prague.
Fly first class and he'll be fresh and ready.

We're intercepting his flight now? Better get StrykerSteve some size-L UFC gloves so he'll be able to handle the most legendary hockey ass of all time.

When they play Anaheim next week I say we win 1-0 in OT.
Smith passes it to Johnny, who then curls inside the blue line, dishes it to Jagr who comes off the bench and is catching up, then he puts it in top shelf. Johnny jumps into his arms while Jagr is doing his salute.
The hockey world goes nuts. CP servers crash.

I'm up for kicking in. How much would you need in total Calgaryboy? I am assuming for later in the season.

Norm!

So the question is, even if they fly him in for tomorrow, does he play on Wednesday? Or do you let him recover from jet lag.

Maybe you should have discussed this with calgaryboy before you start something like this. He might not want it.

Jagr doesn't experience jet lag. Jets get Jagr lag.
