Even in 2022, it took them game 7 OT to eliminate the bottom seed that barely scraped by Vegas for a playoff spot in a shooutout on the last game of the season, or whatever it was.

But I suppose Oettinger's performance acted as somewhat of an equalizer.

The Flames were by far the better team in that series. Oettinger was worth 2 games at least.

The fact these guys were trying to hand out that kind of money and term to Hanifin and Lindholm is God damn scary. The only way to win in this league is to be efficient with your cap. They seem to have zero concept of that.
