If Bobrovsky turns back into the Bob we knew before the playoffs began that’s bad news for Florida

Tkachuk got cross checked. But then tried to take Hill’s legs out. No call either way. Which is why I think the call that was made was softer than a lot that’s gone uncalled.

And no interference there just now?

Florida played well, but Vegas is dialed in to win the Cup

They say you're never in trouble until you lose one at home, but if the Panthers can't turn this around and get some momentum soon they're looking like they're in some trouble.

I didn’t really think Vegas looked that good when the Flames played them this season.

But they have looked pretty bulletproof in the playoffs.

I think the difference is the speed that Vegas plays with is exposing Tkachuk and his lack of speed.

Toronto looked slow and tried play a grinder style and Carolina looked slow.

Vegas isn't changing their game.

Both goals, he was completely screened.

They are built for the playoffs. Can play any way necessary to win a playoff hockey game.

Still have no idea how that wasn't called a penalty compared to everything else that was.

Bob has descended from the heaven. He needs to play out of his mind for the Panthers have a chance, that defense is not good enough.

He's been fine, the defense is not playing the way they did earlier by being tougher on puck battles and getting the puck out of the zone quickly and efficiently. Not doing well blocking shot either, especially on defensemen. Even Biz pointed that out in the intermission.

Then they are struggling to get any speed on their attack because Vegas plays an excellent neutral zone game.

Need a better effort than that, both in terms of focused defense, battles, and speed getting into the offensive zone. The team has lost some of the juice with the long layoff, and they're struggling to find that magic formula again.

It's not because of Bob. He's fine.

Defensive metrics from the regular season are poor 21st in goals against.

Was it poor goaltending or just a bad defensive team?

Bob has been fine but that's not good enough to cover for this teams' defense. He needs to play out of his mind. IMO.

I thought Gudas ran at Barbashev and Barbashev just sort of straightened him up. If it was shoulder to head, it was accidental. But I thought it was more body on body.

Looked like that had more to do with how low Gudas was going into the hit. Barbashev was just standing up and gave the reverse hit.
