Just got home from the Dome. In lieu of Gaskal, here are some thoughts!

- That OT PK kill was one of the finest kills i've seen in years. YEARS!

- As some posters have mentioned, that was by-far Chiasson's best game as a Flame.

- On the back end, Engelland and Gio really stood out, especially #5. What a treat to have him as the Captain.

- What can be said about Johnny. Really flying out there tonight.

- I thought #13 for the Pens, Bonino, was really noticeable tonight. Real speedy, good puck pursuit.

So proud of the boys tonight. 10 straight!!!! Bring on the B's, lets turn it up to 11.

An early game missed 4 minute high sticking
Malkin diving to save shot like game 7s
A wrapperaound for the ages
And crosby interference
An OVERTIME penalty kill
ALL shootout saves
Except one exceptional backhand to the roof
Priceless

yeah that Ferland pat to Malkin for the block on his shot....was pretty classy to recognize a brave play.

You're forgetting that we had a new coach and a new system that the players were adjusting too.

What you're seeing now is the fruits of all the hard work and how this system has them playing better hockey than they were under Hartley.

Gulitzan should be a nominee for coach of the year.
