Surely if it's just around the corner you can spill some details without getting in trouble?
Like a CP locals discount sale. We get first news

Tire tread...
Is Canadian Tire sponsoring the new arena?
Canadian Tire Place?

It would be cool if it was announced next week. My brother is in town from Austin, TX. But I would doubt it is next week since I doubt they would want to upstage the Champions Tour event. So maybe the week of the 10th.

Bald tires...new arena...
Is some sort of tire recycling company going to be the main sponsor or just supplying the construction materials?

Haha, not the tire tread comment fellas... the 'wow' factor; also referred to as thy socks being blown off. More 'sports oriented; than Edmontons', that's for sure.

I just have feeling that I am going to be slightly disappointed. Because the project is so big encompassing so many features, I have a feeling each building individually will be kind of mediocre. I don't think the arena will top Edmonton's and the football stadium/field house combo scares me. I'd rather not have any new buildings if they are not top quality. I don't want a corrugated metal shed as a football field house. I hope I'm proven wrong!!

Ya, everyone who claims so be in the know says this project is nothing short of amazing but I agree that it would be a shame if the stadium design is compromised to incorporate the field house. I have faith that the arena will be better than Edmontons.

Why does a field house compromise a stadium design? The quality of the design of such facilities doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.
