This is the epitome of a humble brag but I’m headed to game 6 tonight and am just ecstatic for it. Figure either outcome will be enjoyable...either see the Caps win at home or see a team (even if it is Tampa) win the Eastern Conference live. Hoping for a Caps win though.

I was in the same classes as Jay in junior high. We also were classmates with Ryan Stone, who was drafted by Pittsburgh in the 2nd round of the 2003 draft. Growing up, Ryan was always the one getting attention for making the NHL, no one ever talked about Jay. Ryan was 6’1 in grade 9, while Jay was 5’4. Ryan also got drafted into the WHL and was going to be playing for the Wheat Kings, Jay didn’t get drafted into the WHL or NHL. At the time, never would have thought Jay would be the one who would carve out a career in the NHL, or end up being the taller one at 6’3. Would be a great personal accomplishment for him to win a Stanley cup, will be hoping the caps can win game 6.

All I ask is that the game isn't over in the first 5 minutes. No duds.

I'm gonna need fewer drop passes by the Caps, and more driving to the net.
Ovi has the right idea

Feels like one of those games where a goalie just might not get beat. Vasilevsky looking locked in.

Caps can't buy a goal. Looks like Vasilevsky isn't gonna let anything in tonight.

This is easily one of the most exciting games I've watched in these playoffs. Crazy action at both ends, heavy hits, great goaltending. This is fun.

Caps have to generate more second chances. They're dictating the play but the Bolts are containing the second chances nicely.
