Some advanced stats fun from Twitter - here's Jagr's "Dangerous Fenwick*" effect on his teammates last year. Green indicates better with Jagr than without Jagr; red the opposite.
*Dangerous fenwick is like regular fenwick (unblocked shot attempts at opposing net), but adjusted for the likelihood of scoring on the particular event. E.g., a slap shot from 15 feet out in the slot is more dangerous than a wrist shot from 50 feet.

Glen Gulutzan on Jaromir Jagr: "He is a physical specimen, his hockey IQ is off the charts". He added Jagr was not a distraction with Stars.

Barkov admitted he was disappointed Jagr wasn't re-signed by the Panthers.
"I would be lying if I say no because he helped me so much and probably I would never be in the same situation without him," Barkov said. "When he came in, I took my game to another level and for sure everybody else on the team did too. He just helped so much everybody on the team and is one of the most important guys in my career."
This is one of the big underrated intangibles with Jagr - the impact he could have on the younger guys in the room.

I researched them first and they have a bunch of good reviews on reddit* of people saying they are legit. $180 incl tax and shipping (free). They say their jerseys are all stitched name/number and they are based out of Vancouver.
*if they turn out to be total scam and these are chinese knockoffs or heat pressed name/numbers, please don't blame me. I'm just trusting other people on the internet. But they seem to be well known on reddit as being legit. There were like a dozen threads about them.
I think the reason it isn't official is to give the Flames a bit more time as they get a little more time for roster moves. No point to add him to the roster until he is in the city and ready to practice.
When do you think his first game will be? Do they throw him right into the fire?
Jagr imo doesn't really need to practice to learn the system or anything. Jagr is just going to go and learn on the job. The guy is well above most players in his hockey smarts.
