People are calling you out as a poster because you have a history of doing this. You picked the most outrageously stupid thing to whine about and get called out on that (which wss content first like you again are complaining about atm).

However you obviously can't grasp that it was a remarkably stupid thing to complain about in the first place and pull the victim card the first opportunity it comes up.

I know for a fact a lot of people on this forum dislike Kassian for very similar antics on the ice.



And funny. Somebody else agreed with me in this thread. Not alone in this thought perhaps.

Man, I really wanted the Flames to draft Bogdan Yakimov in 2013. Everything I read and watched on him said he's a puck possession type player, great in the corners and had decent hands and a good shot. I fear the Oilers now may have found a good egg. Dang it.

I can definitely see a Center ice line up of RNH, Draisaitl and Yakimov in five years time. Draisaitl and Yakimov being a devastating 2 & 3 punch. Hate those Oilers.

That was a good third round pick for the Oilers.

You don't have to have a google images tab prepared whenever somebody posts something you disagree with.

You can read the post and respond with words, perhaps a 5 word sentence saying you don't think it's a big deal, or you can even ignore the post altogether.

I post on the forum hoping for discussion. Your posts would suggest you don't.

I don't like it when a player wearing a Flames uniform acts like a bit of a doofus (in my opinion). I'll leave it at that.

Despite the L, loved this game. If the ref's weren't Atom level we easily win this game. Controlled all the play at even strength, so much more skill, lots of nastiness, loved it!!! Needs some work on a little more restraint, PK wasn't great and goaltending was average, but 9/10 times we win this game. Outclassed them a tonne and a definite assist to the refs on their goals, but you can see which team has more skill.

Way to many penalties. Sucked the enjoyment right out I'd the game for me. Gaudreau and Bennet looked great McDonald Didnt really impress me.

That was a good third round pick for the Oilers.

I'm iffy with Russians. I personally think yakupov will be in the khl in the next couple years because he'll get a contract he likes that all the other nhl teams don't. Look at nichushkin (mind my spelling ) saying that if he's not on the stars he'll just go to the khl it's always a risk now. Who knows though maybe he will like edmonton and stay you never know.

Even if he gets shut out on Monday, this will be yet another tournament where Gaudreau is at least a point per game.


I hope the Flames music crew are getting ready to play Johnny Be Goode a lot this season.

I really like the potential of Kanzig and Smith. Both clearly have some things to work on (as do all players their age), but their assertiveness I believe will be a great asset going forward. Breen's propensity to be tentative on the ice is what I believe has held him back.

Both will hopefully learn where the line is in terms of physicality, and become great assets going forward. Smith especially with his offensive skill could become a great prospect.

The amount of penalties in what equates to be a preseason allstar-type game irked me.

Smith skates like a stork, straight legged with a terrible center of balance and Kanzig has the agility of a mac truck.

Forget the 4-3 loss Saturday to the Edmonton Oilers in Young Stars Classic action at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Focus instead on two post-game assessments:

• Flames assistant Todd Gill saying that the performance of Sam Bennett – the best player on the ice by a fairly large margin – was nothing. And Gill would know. He coached Bennett the past two seasons with the OHL Kingston Frontenacs.
  
  
• Bennett saying that the only player that compares offensively to Johnny Gaudreau is junior ace Connor McDavid – “but, still, I don’t even know if he has some of the moves that Johnny can pull off. It’s pretty impressive.”

I don't mind taunting in sports. It's what builds individual rivalries inside the larger Battle of Alberta.
