He might as well go back on the juice. MLB doesn't care. Selig wants his guys to hit 70 home runs a year.

Colorado got a record 11 straight hits with two outs last night vs. Chicago. They ended up scoring 12 runs and Carlos Gonzalez, Troy Tulowitzki, Melvin Mora, had two hits apiece in the eighth. http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/...urn=mlb-259430

Cubs are just messed up weird. Earlier in the year they gave up 10 runs in an inning on only 2 hits.

Might as well say I think the Cubs are seriously jinxed.

Got my taste of my first MLB game live last night. ATL vs NYM was a blast. Tickets were only $9!

Really hope the Rays can take the division away from the Yankees this year. Not a huge baseball fan but I hate the Yankees and I really like the Rays, even from the Devil Rays days when they sucked.

You should get playoff tickets! I remember late in the Braves consecutive playoff run fans were so spoiled they didn't even go to first round games. That might change this year as they've missed out the last few years and this is sort of a surprise team.

They might even give out Foam Tomahawks again!

What a complete and utter disaster Brandon Wood has been at the Major League level.

Stats Prior to this year

And he has been swinging at a .411 OPS this year.

Unreal.

I thought he was going to be a sure thing (as did a heck of a lot of scouts) with the power he had. Angels considered him completely untouchable at one point in time..

I think at this rate the only way A-Rod gets his 600th home run is if he hits a ground ball into the left field and the left fielder falls over making it an inside the park homer.

Reds have picked up Jim Edmonds from the Brewers for Chris Dickerson. Great deal for the Reds. Edmonds gives the Reds some much needed LH bench power and can play all three outfield spots.Edmonds is gonna work his butt off as he said this most likely his last season.
