With our third selection, The Upper Trash are proud to select... in the category of Comedy (Situational)...
One of the greatest shows most people never watched...
Sports Night!
Great pick. I was keeping that as a darkhorse.
I have the full set of DVDs and highly recommend them.
This was Aaron Sorkin's show, and the snappy dialogue can be seen in his next series, The West Wing.

Well that figures. I almost took Sports Night in the 2nd, 3rd, AND 4th round. I love this show. I guess I have to definitely go with my personal favourites from now on. So far I've only taken two out of four personal favs.

I wish they would bring back Sports Night it was great. To bad it only lasted one season.

The Following User Says Thank You to Bobblehead For This Useful Post:
For the fourth round pick in the Crime/Law Category, The Cleveland Indian Head Test Patterns are proud to select Dexter.
Can't believe this show was still available.
From IMDB: During the day, Dexter Morgan is a jovial employee in the Miami Metropolitan Police Department's crime lab, but his meticulously crafted life masks his true nature. In reality Dexter is a disciplined and murderous psychopath (a self-admitted "monster"), and he slakes his blood lust at night by carefully killing the serial killers he tracks down during the day. Based on the novels (Darkly Dreaming Dexter, Dearly Devoted Dexter and Dexter in the Dark) by Jeff Lindsay.
I have a few picks in mind. But I find most of them are gone by the time it gets back to my turn.

I have a mental list of shows i like but for the most part i try to prepare a few picks ahead of time when a new round comes up, meanwhile hoping and praying nobody picks them ahead of me. So far one is gone.
Same here, I have a few fav shows in mind and go with my gut when it's my pick.
So far all my picks are personal favs:
M*A*S*H (I have first 3 seasons on DVD)
Firefly (I have the 1 season on DVD)
Battlestar Galactica (Seasons 1, 2, 2.5 & 3) on DVD
Mythbusters (I don't have this on DVD...yet)
Barnes... it wasn't on my list... not a fan. But I share your surprise that no one else took it. Nice grab.
Wasn't on my list either, I don't get all the hype surrounding the show, but I do share your surprise. Everyone I know seems to flip their lids over Dexter.
As for lists and such, I don't have one. I think I will probably just go by category and see what comes into my head first. I don't have time for a list at this point.
Full writeup will have to wait till tomorrow- happy I got this awesome show I just recently got into!
Loking forward to getting into this one. A good friend of mine called it the best Television show ever in a conversation this weekend.
We'll see....
and Dexter? Brilliant.
