Did the American teams do the same coming up here?

Sure, the Oilers did it, but we already know the Oilers are stupid. The Leafs had a short drive to the border and a sufficiently large airport right across it.
Oilers and apparently the Kings did it too returning home although I don't see a flight out of YEG that would correspond to the King's charter. (news reports were both teams flew to YVR, bussed across the border, then flew the rest of the way)/ Leafs bussed to Buffalo and I assume Tampa did the same. They are doing it because you need a negative test to fly to the US but not to drive and this ensures nobody get's snagged with a positive test and cannot travel. It has nothing to do with time saving.

I assume the Stars and Flames would like to do something similar but they would need to go out of their way to do it. I don't see any charters out of YYC last night on Flightaware so it's tough to tell. Perhaps fly to Winnipeg, bus to North Dakota and go from there?

Weirdly, even though Dallas is better at home than on the road, I feel like going there could help us in the next two games. They're going to be pumped up in front of the home crowd, and want to play more entertaining attack hockey, and that will open it up for Johnny's line to make them pay. (Plus a sweep would've meant possible rust in game one against who ever wins the 7-game Oilers series.)

Plus Marky gives a level of confidence to his team in a series we haven't seen since Kipper.

Last night is a tough one but I am still confident in their ability to win the series. I am hopeful that they will figure things out on the road like they have seemed to do a few different times this season. This team won 50 games and surprisingly the home/road split was even. This team has been very comfortable on the road and I am confident in the coaching staff that we have to turn this thing around next game.

Looks like the Flames just left and are going n/s to Dallas.

LA is like the Flames, been the better team but haven't been getting any breaks, and tonight la got the puck luck. Now it's our turn! Dallas stole one in our building and we will steal one in there's!

The Flames need to play me and my shadow, put some one on Pavelski, follows him around, stay close to him, don't let him all alone in 5 feet from the net.

I hope game 4 is just the beginning of a dominant run for the flames. The Dome will be rocking on Wednesday and I hope the Flames have found their swagger. Dallas is going to try and clog it up even more next game but I am optimistic the Flames can win the next 2

I was at the flames outdoor party today, does anyone have a link to Bieksa calling out the panel favoring the flames?

The panel wasn’t favouring the Flames. Sounds like they were saying they were done (for the game at least) between the 2nd and 3rd. Amber in particular. I don’t know because I didn’t see it, but that’s what Bieksa was suggesting.

^^ Did Ron MacLean sarcastically wish the Flames good luck before the 3rd? that always seems to work
