I think they'll give Hughson the Montreal-Ottawa series. We'll probably get Romanuk.

He will be effective because he brings a tenacity that the Euronucks so often lack in the playoffs.
Dorsett had the least icetime per game of any Canuck who played regularly, and was 10th amongst Canucks forwards in penalty killing time per game.

If the Canucks didn't trust him to regularly go up against top offensive players during the regular season, why would they do it in the playoffs?

You don't have to look at him, you just have to listen.; That said, I'll take anyone over Hughson when it comes to a Canucks game. Hughson is unlistenable when he gushes about his favourite team.

I wish we could have Hrudey and Ball for this series.

Romanuk is just the worst. Even more worse if it's with Mike Johnson or whatever his name is.

Not surprising given the arena schedule. The full schedule for all series will be announced tomorrow afternoon (2:30pm MT on Sportsnet).
Excellent, was worried that I would miss some of it.
Here are the rest of the times. Basically 8PM for the first 4 games.

I really dislike Hughson. Such a Vancouver homer.

So games 3 and 4 are going to be at 8pm our time to accommodate Vancouver? That's a pain.

Though I suppose its to be the double header in a back-to-back... but still.

I guess it will be even more satisfying when we win then, we'll be able to hear the exact moment his heart breaks each game.

Hughson shouldn't be allowed near a Canucks game. He annoyed me beyond belief in 2011 during their run. It's a shame, he's a great play-by-play guy when he's not calling Vancouver... Might mute the TV and listen to Wills call it.

Not sure if mentioned, but this follows the same schedule as 2004, started Wed April 7 2004 in Vancouver....first Flames game was on the Sunday at home, then Saturday game 6 (April 17) and Monday game 7 (April 19).

Too bad about Hughson.

Well, that sucks. If there's a bright side, at least Healy will be the analyst for the Habs-Sens series, so we won't be stuck with him.

The games will be in Punjabi on Omni, so if Hughson gets too bad, that's always an option. At least Singh seems to be a Flames fan.
