Because if not - I'd rather not have him in the lineup.
I share the same concerns, but he still causes defences problems when he is out on the field. Hopefully Mo Price realizes he needs to atone for his playoff performance of a year ago and will step up to the challenge.

“@Newstalkstamps: Hufnagel says 'optimistc' on @StampMachine playing vs @EdmontonEsks in W F.” (That would be Hughes if you don't knew his Twitter handle)

“@Newstalkstamps: .@calstampeders will have @jonnycornish and @MauricePrice17 ready for W F.”

“@Newstalkstamps: Expecting @EdmontonEsks to start Reilly at QB in W F.”

We have to win the grey cup. You cannot win 29 of 36 games in two years and lose at home twice in the playoffs these opportunities just don't come along that often.

Going back to 2008, 6 out of 7 times in the Western Final - comes along quite often. We can all agree they should finish better.

On this we agree and if they don't win the entire thing this year I will be "PeteLFan" level ticked off.
The reason?
There is ONE good team in the league this year. The rest are terrible. Look at those games yesterday - AWFUL.
There is only one team this year that is decent at all - and it is the Stamps. To not win a championship this year would be utter failure.

We have the most talent, and yes I was upset with how we played because I feel this team should have been 18-0 and throttled every team we played. The talent level isn't even close in my eyes. I just think this team has another gear and should steam roll the opposition.

The size and speed of the receivers we have, the best running back we have ever seen. Edmonton doesn't stand a chance on paper.

“@SUNMitchell: According to @StampedersPres Gord Norrie, Stamps will be wearing their black Outlaw jerseys Sunday in West Final. I'll co-sign that. #CFL”

As we all know, weather is the great equalizer. MissTeeks posted earlier that the forecast for Sunday looks pretty good (sunny with a high of +2), I'm hoping it holds and the Stamps can take full advantage of good weather conditions in late November.

last time we had a good weather home playoff game was 2008, we know how that story ended. Really hoping the weather holds up and isn't a factor.

Hughes at practice today without his walking boot:

News Talk 770 Stamps@Newstalkstamps2m2 minutes ago

Light walk through starts the @calstampeders week. @StampMachine out. No walking boot!

^^ Is there any consideration of holding Hughes out of the West Final, to give him an extra week of recovery in hopes of coming back for the Grey Cup? Or is it "all in" for the West Final?

“@buzrbe: Stamps DL Charleston Hughes went through practice, but declined to talk to media. If he's still good tomorrow he will address status #cfl”

Some receiver insights:

Scott Mitchell@SUNMitchell2m2 minutes ago
Nik Lewis is in this week and will play an important role, IMO. His physicality, chain-moving skills will be important in a slugfest. #CFL

Scott Mitchell@SUNMitchell7m7 minutes ago
Eric Rogers was doing a whole lot today. Just speculating, but I'm pretty sure the rook has earned a West Final roster spot. #CFL

@SUNMitchell: Mo Price shook loose on a deep route today. Asked Huff how he looked in first full practice: "Fast." #CFL

@SUNMitchell: Huff is "optimistic" about Charleston Hughes, but day after is always the thing. If his foot responds well tomorrow, there's a chance. #CFL
