Ok J pold, Yea_Baby settle down, we can all agree you are both nerdy hipsters who wear their parents retro clothes and listen to Ra Ra Riot on a limited edition autographed 12 inch vinyl while reading their GreenLantern comi-- ahh crap!
I have a feeling that Hathaway will be playing more Selena Kyle than Catwoman in the movie.. an angle where Batman catches her stealing and they are both "villains" and "heros" together, at the same time.. Batman wanted by the cops and all.. this could be very interesting.

Norm!

Or else we see 2 minutes of Anne Hathaway during the credits where she drunkenly stands up during a company outing and screams out "who wants to pet this kitty"
Foreshadowing at its best people.

the story is there, the Joker in Arkham slowly seduces his head shinker, she hatches a plot to distract Batman so that Joker can escape, but he foils it in the end. You wouldn't even need to see the Joker or hear from him.
Plus Haley Quinn could be played by Hathaway.

I don't think there's any reason to think that Coulttiard can't be playin Harley Quinn

Batman Begins was a much better movie overall.

You aren't alone. This is exactly how I feel.

Before you say something stupid like, "this is a FATA," think again, because it's not...
Anne Hathaway confirms Catwoman will be in The Dark Knight Rises...we knew Selina Kyle would be in the movie for sure but it wasn't specificed whether or not she would take on the Catwoman persona in the film.

With Bane in the movie I think they stick more to the comic version and he'll be a smart character, it would definitely make for a better movie. Of all the movies coming out in the next 2 years, this and The Avengers have me pretty pumped.

I can't see Nolan not sticking to the comic version. His writing has been inspired by the comics and generally iconic story-arcs. I would think he would stay with this model and rely on that over previous movies, especially where they sucked giant rotten eggs.
I'm excited for this, can't wait

When I hear Tom Hardy, I keep thinking of a bald Shinzon from one of the Star Trek movies and how much I hated that character and that movie. Then I imagine that skinny little Tom Hardy as Bane.
Still, I'm very excited.

Ahhh yes... all signs are pointing to a very great story arc for this movie.

Everything seems to be falling into place pretty well casting-wise.
The Catwoman character will be a tough one though. I hope Nolan doesn't F that up.

I hope Catwoman is a protagonist that symbolises the power and strength of an independant woman. She can wear purple!

On a side note 3 Justin 3, #### variety. I know the Long Halloween is quite a few years old but you will soon realize the cliffhanger ending (most of it anyway) is ruined by that stupid Variety article.
Although there is a twist on the twist.
