For every Brouwer/Neal there is a Tanev, Frolik or Hudler.
Term two years too long, AAV ok.
Decent signing, can be placed anywhere in the lineup and score 20 goals while playing tough, defensive hockey.
I’m thinking Glencross before he thought he was Brett Hull.

Really like the player but I am having a tough time getting over that term. 6 years is a lot for a guy who will be 30 in November.

James Neal was a tire fire off the ice.
I would bet that Coleman has more character in his left pinky finger than that POS Neal has in his whole body.

Blake Coleman is a pretty cowboyish name all right. He’ll be a Parade regular I bet.

I doubt he will be wearing Guccis or Yeezies in the Stampede Parade.

Some interesting facts about our prized UFA signing:
- Married a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader
- Has a goldendoodle (same as Gaudreau and Monahan)
- Favorite player growing up was Joe Nieuwendyk
- Dad played college football at Oklahoma State
- Has his own pickle juice company with his sister (P20), after discovering how pickle juice would reduce cramping

Seems like a pretty interesting guy. Way better than that Neal guy.

Coleman grew up in Plano so Calgary should seem like far less of a beehive than the Dallas area.

I hope the Fan guys ask him what Johnny told him when he called and asked if he's signing an extension.

Plano is the most affluent big city in the USA. Average income is $84000. 300000 population.
Twenty minutes from Dallas.

That makes sense. Plano is the world headquarters for Josh McDowell Ministries—one of the most prominent Evangelical apologetic organisations in the world.

I keep hearing that he's a forward who is a defensive beast. That makes me more comfortable for a long term signing because unlike Neal whom you sign for his goal-scoring ability, once that dries up (and it dried up before his plane hit the tarmac at YYC) he becomes a paper-weight. A defensive 2-way player brings value even if his scoring goes down in the last half of his contract.

Well... No!
Plano has a stout roster of regional offices including: Intuit, Bank of America, Ericsson, McAfee, Frito-Lay, Pizza Hut, U.S., NTT DATA (formerly Dell Services), Hewlett Packard Enterprise, PepsiCo, FedEx Office and many others.
Electronics. Plano has always been on the cutting edge of electronics and technology, as the first microchip was created only five minutes away. ...
Software and IT. ...
Energy. ...
Game Development. ...
Health, Medical, and Biological Science. ...
Restaurants.
That makes sense.
