He really mis-timed this.
I mean...if you're going to play a season in empty arenas you should probably take that opportunity to ditch your wife, go bankrupt, welch on Casino debts and bribe your girlfriend to get several abortions.
If you had to choose the timing and you'd already done all this stuff.
Obviously it goes without saying that ideally one wouldnt do any of these things.

Total d-bag, but I do wonder if SJ can terminate the contract. If I recall correctly, Mike Richards contract was terminated for drug use or an arrest or something, but I think they still had a cap hit attached (and possibly paid him out). I am sure the bankruptcy court would look into any termination as well.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
