Did not expect to tune and see CBJ already up by 2.
But, maybe here comes TB.

I think I heard that should the BJ's sweep this, it will be the single biggest series odds upset in NHL history.

Columbus looks unstoppable. There's a good chance they'll also make the Leafs look silly if that's who they get in the 2nd round. Not sure about Boston though as they're more physical.

The Trews on the mix in the stadium in Columbus? Thought they were more of an exclusively Canadian thing.

I wouldn't doubt it. The Presidents' Trophy winning team getting swept in the first round has to be up there with a 16 seed beating a 1 in the NCAA for unlikely events.

It's astounding what Columbus is doing.
As glad as I am to see Tampa likely going out, it concerns me that there really may be a low correlation between high success in the regular season and early round playoff success. That doesn't bode well for Calgary if true.

What does a week+ off do to them, though?

It's up to each and every team whether their success will correlate.
You either show up when it matters or you don't. Doesn't mean a thing for Calgary. The Flames' fate will be determined by them alone and their resiliency, and not what another #1 seed does or whatever statistics are out there.

I dunno. I remember being extremely mad with many other posters, because it meant Puljujarvi landing in Edmonton's lap and Vancouver was probably going to get Tkachuk.
Thank you Dim Jim. Thank you so much.

Bobrovski might be worth every penny he'll get.
