Hopefully legalizing is one thing that the Liberals can get done sooner rather than later. That is one change that this country needs.

I'm super happy for Matt Grant, and can't believe that Kent Hehr is likely to lose. Astounding that Crockatt is going to win that seat.

They need to count up a bit more, but there has been a lot of positive buzz in my riding (Skyview) for Darshan Kang (L) who may take it. Way too early to tell so far however.

Harper has been one of the longest serving Prime Ministers in Canada and now he is being defeated. I don't know if it makes it more historic, but it's a new chapter anyhow.

Yeah I thought he'd have a better chance than Lindsay.

Meh. Her husband rode a fluke and his successor was completely irrelevant in the end.

I initially thought Harper was making a big mistake in ignoring the NDP completely in his campaign, but Trudeau matched him lockstep in that, and the two of them simply squeezed Mulcair right out of the picture.

And dogmatic Alberta, trained to reject any association with the name Trudeau, will likely now find itself locked out of the cabinet.

That will give some people something to bitch about.

Huh? News to me, A veteran, and the literally hundreds of other vets/still serving members that I know. I could probably count those who voted anything other than Conservative on one hand.

Oh well, looks like we have to survive another Liberal govt.

I don't hate the party, I just cannot get behind Trudeau. He doesn't seem anything like a leader to me.
