Jays up 2-1 this aft looking for the sweep. Both Jays runs came in on a triple by Rios. Cory Koskie continues to struggle at the dish though and I think is still 0 for the season.

And just like that Koskie gets a key hit to cash in a runner. 5-2 Jays now.

Jays bullpen has entered full collapse mode.
If they are this bad against the D-rays, whats gonna happen against good teams? Frasor, Shoeneweis and Speier have combined to allow 7 earned runs in 2 innings.
8-5 now, game is all but over, what a waste of a great chance to sweep.

Aww man, we lost?! This is the worst day ever. 3-0 would've been fantastic.

They take a 5-2 lead into the bottom of the 8th and end up blowing it. Vintage Jays, lol.
What looked like a promising start ends up being a slim series win against a terrible team. Get ready Jays, Red Sox are in town Friday.

Pitching has always been the question mark for this team, the last few years anyway. This sure looks like the Jays of last year. Let's hope it's just rust and these guysget into form, and in a hurry.
We can't afford to give the Red Sox anything in this coming series.

I wouldn't say all pitching, just the bullpen really, they blew alot of leads last season, and will most likely do the same this year, atleast Batista can be a legit closer, but they need some setup men badly.

It was absolutely ######ed to Put SS in the game, pitching 3 days in a row?
For anyone, even someone with his arm stamina, thats really tough.
Even though it was against a few Lefties, Speier should have come in in the 8th, Batista in the 9th, I'd pitch him without any rest because he has a lot better stam than SS.
Heck, even Pete Walker (if hes not starting) is a better option.
