Blue squares were controlled by mods and were obvious in every post as they were below the user's avatar.

-'s would be only on the one post and would be contributed by other posters. They can be used with the stars of the threads too.

This way a poster wouldn't feel like he's a crappy poster all around, but that he/she made a bad post.
