I have wall mounted 2 tvs in drywall with these bolts.

The shear strength in 1/2" drywall is 85lbs.

That's a good idea. You could also perform a hybrid of this, and put the toggle bolts through the steel studs if possible. I might just to feel a tad more confidence.

I've mounted 4 LCD TV's on metal studs over the last 5 years. 2 52's, a 60, and most recently a 70. I use hollow wall anchors like the one below.

I find toggle bolts require too big of a hole relative to screw size.
