Norton is a great actor, but he picks some really bad roles/movies. The guy is wildly inconsistent.

DiCaprio is the man!
Him and Hanks are my two favorite actors, made Catch Me If You Can a great movie.

I agree with the DiCaprio assessments. He has had great movies recently, Aviator, The Departed and Blood Diamond are some that come to mind instantly. I am looking forward to this movie because I am a Nolan fan as well.

If anyone missed it, you should also watch "Memento" which Nolan directed. Brilliant movie.

I can't believe someone mentioned Edward Norton. The guy has nothing on guys like Hanks, DiCaprio, and Depp.

^ Yeah, but he's not like a Johnny Depp who can take some of the worst dialogue of all time and turn it into art.
American History X was probably Norton's best, but even then its not that hard to portray an enraged youth with a swastika slapped on your chest. The prison scenes were bland, and once he was out and being the "good guy" I felt like I was watching a really good high-school com-tech project.

He was very good in Primal Fear too. And The Illusionist as well.

I never saw Primal Fear, but I didn't care for The Illusionist. To each their own.

I know in 'The Prestige' the majority of the magic tricks were done exactly as they would have done them at that time rather than, say, through CGI.

That is cool. I had no idea.

The Prestige is one of the best movies no one has ever seen.
Highly underrated, one of my favourites.

I think that's where is started to be a fan of his too. But even then he had some really good roles, the ###### in What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and the step-son of an abusive Robert DeNiro in This Boy's Life.

Damon should be on that list as well, he has had a very good last 10-12 years

I watched Memento and I didn't find it that good. But, it did make the following Derrickcomedy skit 100x funnier after I got the reference.

Agreed. I had lumped him in with Affleck before, due to Good Will Hunting (which was an excellent movie). I would have thought Damon and Affleck would have taken similar paths movie-wise, but now Damon is worlds apart from Affleck.
And I echo the same opinion for DiCaprio. I HATED...and I mean HATED him in Titanic. Since then, he's been pretty stellar.
