as an aside, my wife signed up for this and she was evasive about the cost and i did not push as i did not care - anyways she has lost some weight and she is feeling better about herself so it was money well spent - although after reading this i did ask her agian how much it was......

hopefully your wife gets the results she is looking for.

My wife is super impulsive since having her stroke and I often have to try and be the voice of reason to her impulsiveness which always makes me look like the bad guy because it seems I'm always trying to stop her from getting and doing what she wants. She gets this idea in her head that she wants to buy that necklace or go do some activity and she just HAS to get it. Then she's happy until the next thing comes along.

That's my main worry about this program; her ability to be dedicated to it. I can totally see her cheating all the time because she WANTS a cheeseburger and can't stop herself from getting them. Once it gets tough and she realizes that she has to give up the food she loves and has difficulty controlling her food impulses I can totally see her wanting to quit. That and the fact that there are other alternatives that are cheaper like Herbal Magic which is apparently half the cost of LA Weightloss for a near identical program.

I hope she does stick with it though, and gets the results she wants.

It's probably too late to get out of it.

The best thing to do is support and encourage her in using the membership. There's not a lot of downside to that plan.

Everybody loves a cheeseburger once in a while but it definitely helps your overall wah if you're excercising away the excesses of your occasional indulgence rather than letting it morph into more fat.
