That there looks very fixable, mostly cosmetic. If the airbags didn't deploy I doubt there would be "frame" damage.

Has your wife tried Bean-o to rectify the smell while she drives?

Bahhh...

There could be damage to the coolant reservoir, was there significant fluid loss at the scene? Is there any over heating indicated? That might cause a smell. Deer feces and what not in the climate air intake?

I was involved in a MVA in late 2008, I did an estimated $9000.00 damage to my 2005 Honda Civic. I thought for sure it would be a write-off. The insurance company decided to fix it, as the damage was completely cosmetic and could be repaired with great success. They valued that car higher then I did, at the time.

Could be deer entrails baking on the rad or near the cabin air intake, too. Might want to hose out the engine bay.

That doesn't look bad at all, considering. I've seen worse damage by deer on a '99 Grand Prix recently, and it wasn't a write-off.

Ew... yeah I'll let them clean that stuff up.

No fluid loss that I can see either.

LOL!

You don't have to touch it. Spray 'er out at the car wash bay.

Thats not bad at all. I nailed one of those jerk deer on Hiway 2 one night going 115 knocked the head right off it too. My 2001 X-Terra suffered a lot more damage than that and it was $3500 to repair in 2002. Only a matter of time until Ken or Jiri hit a deer if they haven't already. KFF will probably end up with a much worse fate...like a Moose being in the Kootenays.

So it was pretty darn close, ended up being $6000 worth of work.

Looks pretty nice though, my wife wants to keep it now lol.

Does it still smell like deer? Are you finished with your venison?
