uh...now I REALLY feel 30 reading this thread!

Although reading through "The Top 106 Hits of 1988" brings back some memories....and some ideas of what to download!

AM 106 and Mix 1060 BigAss radio were probably the most listened to stations down here in Lethbridge.

What, you don't listen to The River? Though, at least Lethbridge's stations are better than Medicine Hat's.

I'm only in my late twenties, but I sure loved AM106 as a young kid. I used to sneak a radio to bed to listen to the Calgary Countdown.

Anyone else "win" an AM106 t-shirt for beating the Pepsi Taste Test sometime in the late '80s?

Also, about that giant yellow ghettoblaster truck - was that just AM106, or Mix 1060 as well? I seem to remember it both before and after the changeover, but I'm not quite sure.

Funny stuff.
