Alright, I have about four hours into the game, and I am totally sucked in. I have killed one sister, two daddies and some sort of beast. Each battle took a lot of setup, except for the beast which came out of nowhere. I really liked the first game, and am now really liking the second.

I tried Uncharted 2's multiplayer briefly, why bother? I have MW2 running on the 360 (which by the way I have never played the single player!).

Man, you can't write worse code than what is in Bioshock 2. I have played multiplayer for the last hour and 10 minutes and have played maybe 7 games, 5 of them I got disconnected from, then it disconnects my xbox live, then it says "go to single player". I say "Single Player" and then it freezes.
I can play MW2 for 5 hours straight for god sakes.
Oh and did I mention the lag. The lag is unbelievably bad, every game so far has a tremendous amount.
And it is totally unbalanced. Me a lvl 3 gets his ass kicked because I got rivet guns shooting me and juiced plasmids/weapons. I still go 1st on my team (of all whom are lvl 20's).
Hopefully the Single Player makes up for this. I want to like the multiplayer because it was fun when I got going but it is even more broken than MW2's.
Not to mention NO ONE uses mics, so how do I communicate? They don't even resemble teamwork.

I still haven't played the multiplayer but I will tonight. I will let you know how the lag is, if there is any, I am going back to single player.

I swear, the lag is so horrible you'll play maybe 2 games and then quit. Well you won't quit because the game will kick you out because the connection was lost.
Honestly, I have played 17 games total, only 4 have registered because of all the connection issues. And the lag is horrendous, everyone is skipping around and it takes like 3 tries to jump.
However I think it is fun. If they could get the lag/connection issues under control I think it would be really fun.

Yah, the online is useless. I got bounced a bunch of times, including messages telling me I lost my internet connection. That was absurd, I had no problem with my PC surfing the net.

Same here. I have been able to play the last few days (still has lag in every game), but getting less connection issues. Most of the connection issues arise from the host leaving, and the code is so poor that it will essentially crash your xbox live and xbox.
It is really fun (I'm level 10), but the lag really hurts the game, and the fact NO ONE uses there mics in team games. Playing "Team Adam Grab" with 4 other people with no mics is a lot harder than it should be, for the simple fact no one sticks together.

Just a word of warning to anyone that may make the same mistake I made with this game.
When I first installed it (for PC) it wanted me to sign in, and showed a nickname I frequently use. It showed that I had played Fallout 3 and another game, so I just figured I'd set up that account last year. I used that account, which turned out to be an "offline" Games for Windows Live account. When I realized that, after playing single player for a few hours with no achievements, I figured I'd sign into Live so it could keep track of this stuff. Unfortunately, when I did that it removed my offline account. The crappy part of all of this is that your save games are tied to your Games for Windows Live account, so even though I can see them sitting on my hard drive, they are permanently unusable.
So if you start out the single player in Offline mode on PC, don't try to change it to online partway though.

I finished the single player finally and I REALLY liked it. I took my time, and went into every room, or little crevice, and it payed off and I got the 100 diaries achievement. I'm not sure how many diaries there are though, because I got maybe 2 more after the achievement, so you'd have to get pretty much all of them to get to 100.
Overall, I loved the game, hopefully there's a third.

There are 114 diaries I think?
I am at the area after Ryans Amusement. The little sister was hard, I had literally no health, was blinking about to die, and I killed her with my drill. So lucky.

I died a lot, my first sister took me at least 15 lives, I would run out with my drill and die right away. I played on hard though, it takes a while to get used to.

I killed her my first try (with 3 health packs). But I am playing on normal, not hard. Hard would kill me, I goof around too much.

Yeah I would blow 5 health kits on one big daddy, then I started using ammo-piercing bullets, and insect swarm, the insect swarm makes the big daddy really easy, whereas the big sister still fights back.
Agh, I'm just glad I finished the game, I loved it, but there's no way I'm going to play it through a second time.

I have seen that the Little Sister is easy when you use the drill and frost plasmid. I was trying to do that but ran out of adam. I am stocking up for my next fight and going to try this method.

just faced another Big Sister and used the drill+winter combo and it worked to perfection. Only had to heal 3 times (rather than 5 haha), but I could have done better had I froze her more often. Super duper. It is cheap but it works.
Just got to make sure to have 5 eve hypos and 5 health kits.

By the end of the game, as long as you hack every health station, you'll always be full on health kits and money since you won't be buying them.
