Nothing wrong with a touch of booze to calm the nerves.

I thought he will claim that he is the best athlete in the world..... a lot better than Terrel Owens.

What? How is doing an illegal drug related to having a sip of legal booze?

Smokes are legal, booze is legal. Both aren't great for your health. If anything if Kiprusoff was smoking weed it would have been worse than this.

I see this being as big of a deal as when Kiprusoff was smoking between periods. Who cares?

The big deal is that there are NBAs that have played drunk (actually drunk, not just had a drink before the game) and will play drunk in the future.

That's according to an anonymous NBAer who was on the show SportsScience (which is an awesome show). Basically he said that he's played drunk before and knows many players that do it too. According to him, he felt it actually improved his performance...the tests done on the show proved otherwise.

I doubt that any NBA is going to openly admit to playing drunk so when Artest says he's had a drink of Hennessy at halftime it more than likely means he's had a lot more than that, IMO.

Well if it doesn't help his performance it should be the team worrying about it, not the NBA. I'm sure players in the MLB, NFL and NHL aren't perfect either, they just aren't stupid enough to say anything, yet.
