Agreed. I switched from propane to gas a couple of years ago, then when
nobody wanted my old BBQ I used it side by side my nat gas BBQ one long weekend when I was cooking for ~25 people. Propane does indeed burn hotter, and I find that even more noticeable when BBQing at -20.
