Such a shame. He was a great player always one of my favorites, R.I.P Steve McNair.

McNair, who led the famous Tennessee Titans' drive that came a yard short of forcing overtime in the 2000 Super Bowl, was found dead on a sofa in the living room Saturday with multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head. His friend, Sahel Kazemi, was very close to him on the floor, killed by a single gunshot. A pistol was discovered near her, but police said it took a while to find the firearm.
Seems to suggest it was a murder suicide, with her as the suspect.

They say they aren't actively looking for suspects, so it sounds like that's what happened, but there's also speculation about the girl's ex-boyfriend. Here's the quote from his myspace page, "never let anyone or anything come in between you and the one you love because when you do you lose everything." And his friend's page says "f*** a quarterback. who is Mcnair in 09? rip sahel kazemi," even though he hasn't logged in since Thursday. So if the girl did kill him, I think this would have ended badly even if she hadn't.

Here's the link to the friend's myspace.

I don't know how myspace works exactly. Could just be that he logged in on 02/07/2009 and hasn't logged out yet, and has updated his status. In any case, the Tennessee police are apparently looking into this.

I think it would be very difficult for McNair to pull off a murder suicide, considering the reports say he suffered multiple gunshot wounds. It (Sportsnet article) also said she died of a single gunshot wound to the head. Seems to point more to her if it was murder/suicide.

Deoxyribonucleic Acid, for example... sounds impressive, right? But have you ever seen what happens if you put something in acid? It dissolves! If we had all this acid in our cells, we'd all dissolve! So much for the Theory of Evolution, Check MATE!
