I thought about picking He Lin, but instead I thought maybe everyone here would benefit from the exposure to one of the most talented documentary director I know.

So my pick goes to Jessica Yu for the awards category. She won for her documentary Breathing Lessons: The Life and Work of Mark O'Brien. She's also directed some TV shows, and has recently branched to directing movies, namely Ping Pong Playa.

That's really pushing it, IMHO. I think GS's rule is that your pick must be turning 40+ this year. i.e. born 1969 or earlier.
But I'm not a hardass about rules. Commish will have to decide.

I'd say sorry but no. The rule is pretty explicit. You'll just have to come to terms with the fact that you dig an woman who's quite a bit older than you. :P
