What made you move there? Do you get paid more to do what you do there, than if you were to live elsewhere in Canada? What is it you do there?

No, no. That was his other option, and he chose Nunavut.

Here's a Nunavut joke:

Two baby seals walk into a bar in Nunavut and go up the bartender and order a round. What did they order? (White text)

A couple Canadian Clubs on the rocks.

Going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark is not fun. Probably my least favorite time of the year. The 24 hour sunlight is not bad, just gotta cover the window's really good to sleep!

Lots of people go hunting during those times and will be in boat or drive all night becuase it is so bright out.

Sometimes. Everyone has a dog here that stays outside. The dogs act as a warning system and they know when a bear is getting close.

We have had some bears in town that have made for some close calls but they are usually scared away fairly quickly.

Have you ever seen someone eaten by a polar bear? Do they eat people, or are they cuddly like pandas? Who would win in a fight, a polar bear or a grizzly bear?

It is hard to club a seal here becuase of the way they are caught where I live. The Inuit do not club seals, it is not part of their culture. They spear or shoot them.

Most are caught off of the flow edge. WE sit, wait and if a seal comes up for air it is shot. They we get in a small boat to retrieve it.

I can get a license if I want but there are enough people here that I can go with I don't need one.

Yes I own a ski-doo. Almost everyone does. Waves are not high enough for surfing. The water is always cold and the beach is full of rocks.

Beer is restricted and you can't buy a case at the store. You need to apply for a permit and have it shipped in. 4 flats of beer is about $220 + shipping by plane.

There is no history of Inuit sniffing gas. You are thinking of the Innu (who are First Nations peoples) in Labrador and they have been on the news.

Inuit are not First Nations peoples.

Have you ventured outside of your igloo since leaving the CPHL?

Do you trade snowmobiles and seal blubber with the locals to fill that void?
