Probably not in today's modern world. Back in the early 20th century, it made a huge difference and was started actually because of WWI to save on coal and fuel and electricity.

Man, this time change hit me hard this time. I was exhausted from the kids last night, tried to go to sleep at 11PM, new time, couldn't even though I was tired, and still woke up at the normal time today, except I hit the snooze button by mistake, so my wife punched me in the back twice today instead of the normal once.

No pun intended, I'm sure?

4:30 in the summer doesn't really bother me, but 9:30 during the winter gets old really fast!

We should just move it half an hour and be done with it...

I remember a job I had a few years ago that was basically inside a factory with no windows. I'd drive to work at 730 am and it'd still be dark and then by 430 or 5, when it was time to go home, it'd be dark again. It was damn near depressing.
