You know, if they were going to use BTTF footage along with ST-III footage, they should have used some of the footage of Christopher Lloyd as a Klingon.

I can't tell you how much I hated TNG.

The bridge looked more like a sleezy real estate lawyers apartment then a bridge.

The enterprise E to me was a downright ugly ship.

Every episode was either resolved through the use of outright boring diplomacy, or they invented a whole new technological duex ex solution.

Wesley Crusher

Out of the whole series, there were maybe a dozen good episodes, but I found the show too saturday morning wholesome for its own good.

Oh and

Wesley Crusher.

I enjoyed Deep Space 9 because the freaking characters were 3 dimensional and had flaws, unlike the crew of perfecto's on the enterprise.

And there was grit on that show, it actually felt like people lived and worked on that station, as oppossed to the sterile perfect Enterprise.

Oh and Kirk, would have totally kicked Picards ass for being a sissy.

Really? You're the second person that has told me that. I gave it a chance but simply couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll give it a second chance.

I admit the first few seasons, especially the first one, are brutal. But once you get to around season 4 (when Worf joins) it really picks up imo.

And CC which TNG ship do you think is ugly the D or the E? Because the E is the First Contact ship and D is the TV one.

That's why the last season of DS9 was so good (save the last 3 or 4 fraking episodes). Roddenbury was always so sunny and optimistic while DS9 became moderately dark as it got older. It was almost Battlestar Galactica dark when the Federation was at is't lowest ebb. Then the war ended suddenly and easily and everyone was happy and alive.

It other news TNG is on right now. I'd love to see updated CGI for the opening. It just looks so dated.

As far as the DS9 ending I see what your gripe is. But it was Berman era Trek after all, and with the bloating of the franchise you couldn't have a different radical ending. I wonder what DS9 would have become or ended if they had ended it on the producers terms ala BSG as opposed to just following TNG and ending after 7 seasons.

Weak, but any thread with a BTTF reference gets my vote. The girl got me the BTTF trilogy for Valentine's Day two weeks ago and I nearly flipped. We had 1.21 Gigawatts of fun that night!

btw I know this has been posted before(credit Lucid back in '06), but its much better.

The D was the ugly goofy flying apartment complex. The E at least looked like a powerfull ship of war.
