The upstairs people have all the control (I live in a basement suite). So you can ask them! If I had to guess, I'd say 12. Brrrr.
Good reason not to piss them off or they might freeze you out

I like it around 20 or so, the roomie would keep it at 16 if it were up to him I'm sure. He likes it colder in here. Only thing he doesnt seem to realize is that in the basement where my room is you can take at least 5 degrees off. It's a constant unspoken battle with him.

since the temperature in my apartment is set by the people upstairs, it's usually at 12. Sometimes if I'm lucky it goes up to 18. It's at 16.3 right now. Awesome.

At my parents place we have it set at 18-22 depending on who touched it last. My mom sets it low, and I set it higher. I like 21ish, to be honest.

At my girlfriends apartment, her roommate cranks it all the way (not kidding, to 35 or whatever is the highest) because they "don't pay for heat and it's included in their rent." I have to shed layers when I go there, or I sweat... and sweating does not equal sexytimes.

If it gets over 15, that's too much. Mine usually hovers around that in the winter, will turn it up if a cake friend or gf comes over and whines, but not much more.

Can't stand the heat when I'm trying to sleep. I'd rather use an extra blanket.

We keep ours at 16 celsius in the winter. It's kept at 0 from mid spring to mid/late fall.

This is why we need user pay systems in most cases. There are people who just don't care what effect they cause if they don't have to directly pay for it. Similar to the healthcare system no doubt.

Mine is in Farhenheit. Set for 71 while we are home (young child or it would be lower) and 60 while we are out. In the summer, it is set for 72F all them time. It gets bloody hot and humid here. On hot days, the AC runs constantly and rarely gets below 78 anyway.

I used to do 17 degrees around the clock but now I'm back up to 18 (it's also a little warmer, which helps).

Hoghest possilbe setting, then I use windows to regulate. If it worked properly I would probably set it to 15 or so.

We have ours programed to hover between 17-20 depending on the time of day. I've always wondered about the program vs. constant temp debate.
