Whatever the implication, it is no matter. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's as plain as day, just look at the posts, you misquoted me. Edit your post or you will be reported.

Read what he put in quotes. I did not write this. His post is libellous in nature and I feel slandered. Edit the post and apologize for the misquote or you will face legal action.

Is this work related stress or just the general CP pastime?

It is no laughing matter. You used quotes in your post. Inside the quotes were words that I did not use. Just go back and look at the posts. If you think this is a joke you should think again. It is slander, don't think that just because you are behind a keyboard you are immune to being sued. Go back, edit your post, make an apology and all will be forgotten. Otherwise, I will sue you for slander.

Design industry. NO real dress code, relatively big open desks with big windows, a colorful / awesomely design office, young co-workers with lots of good looking / fun people to hang around... and I'm just a grunt amidst this all. I couldn't imagine working in some of the more monotonous environments in cubicle-based industries in this city, that's for sure (finance, accounting, ahem ahem )!

First step at doing so would be to understand the meaning of the word.

I have a great work environment, we have a foosball table that gets used many times a day

Great group of guys, very relaxed, no dress code, beer fridge, weekly BBQ's usually (assuming someone has the drive to go out and get the stuff and cook it). Everyone is responsible for their stuff, no floaters, but there's support if necessary.

I don't get this at all. He directly quoted your post from the first page, and I went back and looked at it, and it was exactly how Fotze quoted it.

Too funny..

I work in a country club of an office. Free pop, juice, coffee. Relaxed dress code, nice people, I even sleep in the meeting rooms during lunch hour...

I think what his "problem" is, is that Fotze "quoted" him as saying the work was "not real" and the very act of using quotation marks on an internet forum is slanderous, even if the use of bunny-ears only brings attention to the said word or phrase being discussed.

I am a nameless cog in an nightmarish corporate bureaucracy filled with incompetents, time-wasters and the clueless.

Luckily I fit right in.

My work environment is pretty good. The basic mantra being, "As Long as the Work gets Done." Obviously it has be done well and on time, which is the tough part as we work with pretty inflexible deadlines.

I get to wear my Flames Jersey to work during the playoffs when theres a home game.

The boss is a big Nucks fan though which can be a real drag.

he's talking about the "not real"* he put in...which was more to reflect what Johnny99 implied, not to attribute a quote to him

*I was quoting fotze, not Johnny99

And yes, it's a laughing matter...

People need to look up the difference between slander and libel.

And even then, I don't think libel (or defamation) would apply since the "not real" is a reasonable interpretation of what the actual quote said. But then again, IANAL

*I was also quoting fotze, not Johnny99

Welcome to Camp Overreaction - drama classes are our specialty!

On the internet, people will misunderstand what you are saying, or, worse, understand what you actually said as opposed to what you meant to say. I'm not telling you what to do, but I will say that stress is a leading cause of heart disease, so the healthy response to situations where you become incensed on a message board is to drink a beer, and forget about it. Pretty soon, instead of angry, you're just buzzed - it's win-win all the way!
