Partner up with airlines and hotel chains and start offering "NFL Experience" packages that include premium seats that people would normally have to pay scalpers for. The NFL could even put a premium charge on these as a lot of people would be willing to pay an arm and leg for the chance to go to a game.
They already do this.

Also Independant travel packages for any NFL team including the Eagles.

Packages are available all over the place.

They want to force the cable companies and dish networks to offer the NFL Network in its basic packages so the Network reaches the majority of viewers.

Your right, that's the plan, but not working out well. In fact so far NFL network is a major bust because nobody wants to pick it up in the US.

Well I think a big issue is the NFL won't let any of the carriers include it as a digi-net; they say on a basic tier so every customer get the channel (and is charged for the channel), and the carriers are balking at that. Seems kind of greedy to me.

yep, and the NFL is crying to congress about it right now.

I'm not positive but I don't know if 2011 is the d day for the NFL, if I recall the salary cap is to be extinguised after the 09 year. Therefore we may have a lockout before that.

That's a shame if it ended up getting dropped, that channel's amazing. NFL Total Access is my version of the nightly news.
