Dodged a bullet there. I'm surprised you didn't go for Manmeet. Too easy?

There is an Alberta Eletion website. That is where I went, and it was the first thing that came up on Google. I found my polling station all in about 5 seconds, and a 5:30 too, during the start of the peak voting time.

I think some parties are just crying foul over little things. Too bad the PC's website didn't crash though....hmmmmm?
The Elections Alberta website was down off and on all weekend and wasn't available until Monday afternoon. I know a few dozen people, myself included, that weren't able to use the site to find the polling station until late in the afternoon.

I couldn't find my polling station. The site didn't have my address or anyone around me, and when I finally got an address that was close and in the system it sent me to a different polling station. When I got there they had a big map with the correct stations.

The site had no other way to find polling stations other than the address input, which didn't work for me. Along with other glitches I found on the site in 5 minutes of testing. That's pretty pathetic if you ask me, very poor site design.

Funnily enough, Elections Alberta doesn't believe my house exists, despite the fact the neighborhood is four years old and I already voted in the Civic election. So I couldn't check my polling station via the web anyway. Their phone line was busy all day yesterday, so that was out too. In the end, I just guessed at where I was supposed to vote and guessed right. And I had to do that only because nobody bothered to enumerate our neighborhood. In fact, at my polling station, the people manning the registrations desk said that up to 90% of the people that came through the doors weren't registered.

The collossal disorganization of this election is a legitimate issue, and one for which heads should roll within Elections Alberta.

We went to our regular polling station that is four or five blocks from our house only to find out that they switched it this year. I know we should have double checked but I thought it was weird that we ended up having to go out of our community to vote. Strange things.
