While they are still around... they aren't the same as they were in their hayday. Now, it's basically TVs and such, movies, and music. No computers... I don't know about car audio, but they're a shell of their former selves.
When I got hired at Future Shop for my part time gig over last year's holiday season, I had to sign a contract saying that I could not shop at A&B due to some price wars from years before between the two companys that got ugly. I guess they agreed to 'restrict' their employees from eachother's stores... Not that they'd know who I was.
