Kenny Wayne Shepherd - Album: Trouble Is
Kenny Wayne Shepherd - Album: Live on

Wow, someone else actually knows who Kenny Wayne Shepherd is...I almost can't believe it!

Not that I am a big fan - I have one album of his (with a handful of "radio hits" - a la Blue on Black, etc) - but most people will ask who it is, and when I tell them, well they look like I am from outer space. They have no clue.
yea, I'm really into the blues-rock. I liked most of the singles from a few years back, so I decided to pick up those two albums...and the new one as well after I heard a few songs from it (mostly a rock album, but it's decent). Haven't been disappointed. [/b][/quote]
Kenny Wayne Shepherd is actually really popular in Wichita. He played a ton of shows here when he first started out. I like him alot as well....calf...since your into blues rock, give the new Gov't Mule disc a try. Great stuff.

How good is that album? I've heard that it's a pretty big step back from Quality?

The Blackstar album is a top 5 Hip-Hop album IMO.

That is a cool band. Funny thing -- the link "Nerds" is the message board. Should we be insulted?

Yeah at first I thought it wasn't too bad, but after listening a couple times, it grew on me a lot. I'm glad they are still kicking around, there is a serious lack of good solid punk rock lately. They have a little wider range now but its right on par with the older stuff in my opinion (I've been a fan for about 10 years now). If you are downloading the new stuff, check out Swan dive, blueprint of the fall, the misanthropic principle , and no voice of mine. Those are some of my favs from the album, as usual great guitar riffs....

file sharing in Canada is legal according to the Supreme Court

- where I heard that I don't recall, and I'm way to lazy to look, but I'm certain that's correct.

I'm listening Exile in Oblivion right now as well. Such a great album. Nice to see Strung Out go back to their older style.

Seeing as file sharing is now OK....I D/L No Voice of Mine, and it's not too shabby at all. The rest of the album is a complete pain in the arse to get so maybe I'll make a stop at HMV on my way home.

If "beautiful" is a step back from "quality" then I would suggest it's bottom of the barrel material because quality was pure crap. Kwe had the Black Star album and the Reflection Eternal album and since then, he's drifted away from Hi-Tek and he's fallen off the radar. I haven't even considered buying his new album considering how dissapointed I was with his last.
