This is turning into a really good game. Burris brings so much emotion to this team, it really is incredible.

There are a few questions on this game as far as I am concerned.

#1. Will Henry Burris starts as a QB for the Stamps in this game? Is he healthy enough to play or is he ready for the first hit? Do you think the Stamps are playing with fire by starting Burris by coming back too early after the injury? Should the Stamps start Ben Sankey and put Burris later on? I guess we wll see the answer after the game.
Henry Burris started the game and played exceptionally well. It looks like he was healthy enough and he proved it today. I have to admit I was a bit nervous that he might get hurt today and I am glad he didn't. I have ti give credit to the OLines for protecting him all day. Also, I have to give Winnipeg's DLine or defensive players for not giving him a cheapshot. I think they are classy as I probably a few times that they could have hit them after the play.

I think they played better last game against Saskatchewan but D's showed up and played well protecting the leads. Still need improvement but that will come.

Are we going to see Joffrey Reynolds beat Charles Roberts in a battle of Running Back?

The game is blackout on TSN and hopefully it will be lifted. I am excited to see this game and hopefully the Stamps win today. GO STAMPS GO!!!
Wow, as expected 2 high-potent offense scored a lot. It was like a shootout at the OK corral over there. Pretty exciting game and really enjoyed it. It looks like the lead will not last that long but Calgary prevails.
Both Joffrey Reynolds and Charles Roberts played well.

Additional comment. The whole receiving corps for the Stamps played exceptionally well. It sure helps that they have a QB who's got strong arm and great confidence. Awesome catch by Thelwell which I think was one of the reason we won. I was hoping Brett Ralph will surpass Fantuz' over 200 yards receptions early in Sask game. Copeland scored 2 TD, Ralph 1, Thelwell 1 and Rambo 1. Only receiver who did not scored TD was Nik Lewis but he played well. I always enjoy watching this guy. Awesome game overall.

Amazing how much suger coating goes on if the team you support wins. I dang near fell asleep in the stands from about the 2nd minute of the 1st quarter until late in the 2nd. Heck I never really enjoyed the game till the last quarter when they finally put their foot on the Blue's neck which they could have done anytime from that 1st couple of minutes on.

Why didn't they? Just out and out stupidity for the most part. Procedure call after procedure call and stupid penalty after stupid penalty. Add to that the bozonic play calling with the so so obvious first down plays and it was just all so exasperating.

They dang near completed every pass they threw over 15 yards and yet they sit for two whole quarters with the ultra conservative calls. Heck Henry could have thrown who knows how many yards that game -- there was only a couple of times all game where they was actual coverage. Only thing that prevented a reception was either the rush or an off throw.

The idiotic penalties are a sore thumb carry over and they will be the killer if they don't fix it!!!!

From my vantage point; as a Bomber fan- there were two factors in play. And both had to do with Hank.

There were times when the Burris from 2 months ago would have ran, but he didn't. Likely to not risk getting hurt. Then on the other side the Bombers were trying to rush him a little more than normal; ie sack the injured guy and make him regret coming back from injury so early.

Then another thing- the "time of possesion of the lead." Stamps had the lead in the game for about 500 point-minutes; the Bombers had 2 point minutes. (ie a 10 point lead for 5 minutes is 50 point minutes.) Or in real minutes 50:2

no sugar coating from me. i could watch the 2003 calgary stampeders vs the 2003 ottawa renegades battle to a 13-6 score and i'd still be glued to the game.

Heck, I rewatched the Winnipeg/Calgary game from Sunday on Monday from start to finish. Love CFL ball.
