no I wasn't really kidding, a new co-worker who is new to Canada asked me about it, and I looked it up on the net and couldn't find anything so I went to CP because we know everything here.

I know a little about seismology so I know why we won't get any, I was just wondering what others remember as the biggest! Feel free to joke in this thread as well.

Well, I found this page:

http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/seg/hazard/int_srch.shtml

Putting in Calgary, Alberta, I got the a chart that doesn't seem to
copy well into here. It did list the following:

6.3 (Oct 19, 1935, 4:48AM)
6.0 (Oct 31, 1935, 6:37PM)
7.1 (Aug 8, 1959, 6:37AM)

Edit: It also doesn't look like the likelyhood of an earthquake in
Calgary or Alberta is very high.
