ah yes, urination on buildings will be way down, but "you made me get pee on me" related fights will be way up.

I honestly don't see this being a good thing. I can see fights started over this or them getting knocked over by some drunk punks. If they are portable I'm sure that they are not that heavy. But then again maybe it would work I just don't see it working. Our culture seems to be the type that doesn't look at this as acceptable, I know I don't want to go downtown and see some drunk ass with his schlong hanging out because he is drunk and wants to play show and tell with everyone.

I took a pee in one of these things a few months ago here in Vic. I think that picture is of the one here set up by Bastion Square.
What I don't understand is why it's a bad thing that I go pee in a bush when I'm drunk. Or even against the side of a building. Who cares? I know it's bad if you pee against a business' door for obvious reasons, but other than that who cares.
A waste of money as far as I'm concerned.

The problem here is that the urine will now be concentrated and stored in a single location, instead of diffusely being absorbed by dumpsters, lawns, buildings, bitchen 79 Cameros etc. - hence the new Edmonton sport of "urine fighting".
This is going to create WAAAAAY more probs than it is going to solve.
